Adam Milstein: a Glowing Leader of the Community

Adam Milstein, a co-founder of the Israeli-American Council, is also an active philanthropist. He sits on the board of many associations including AISH Los Angeles, whose mission is to connect Jews to Judaism and each other; Stand With Us, whose mission is to support Israel around the world; Hasbara Fellowships, which is a leader in pro-Israel campus activism; Jewish Funders Network, which grows the size and impact of Jewish philanthropy; the Israel on Campus Coalition, whose mission is to inspire American college students to take pride in Israel; and Birthright Israel whose vision is to ensure the future of the Jewish people by strengthening Jewish identity, Jewish communities, and connection with Israel.

While Adam Milstein is a glowing leader of the community, he is also a real estate investor. He is the managing partner in the San Fernando Valley office at Hager Pacific Properties. Adam Milstein is a native Israeli and served in the Yom Kippur War. He graduated from the Technion in 1978. He arrived in the US in 1981 and earned an MBA in entrepreneurship from USC. Before graduating, job recruiters came to campus but they were offering little money so he decided to go out on his own. He believes that following up, consistency, and persistency is what makes him productive. Adam Milstein also believes he has made good choices in life but he did have one failure when trying to make a quick fortune. Adam Milstein loves to spend time with his family; he lives in Encino with his wife, Gila, and has three children and three grandchildren. Gila and Adam co-founded SifriyatPijamaB’America, which provides more than 15,000 Israel-Jewish-American families free Hebrew books to teach them Jewish values. Also, Adam Milstein supports a wide range of organizations through The Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation; he is the president. The foundation works to strengthen the State of Israel and the Jewish people.
