Personal Information

Arthur was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1950. He enrolled in the Bennington College and graduated in 1969 with a BA degree in Fine Arts with a mixed major of ceramics and photography. He enrolled at the Amos Tuck (Dartmouth) for business school. He practiced photography in the 90s with his works being showcased in Morgan Walker Fine Art display, Arcature Fine Art, Art Basel and Hal Katzen in New York.

Working Experience

According to NY Daily News, Arthur is the chairman and CEO of Zinio LLC. He was previously the CEO of a NaviSite which offered tech and app management services to companies in US and Britain. The NASDAQ quoted organization offered data hosting and cloud-based app management and computing services for companies as far as India. Arthur Becker, worked for NaviSite up until 2011 when it was sold for $230 million to Time Warner marking his entry to entrepreneurship as an investor. Arthur Becker as an Investor and Artist

The Brooklyn native began investment by buying tech companies back in the early 2000s. His investment portfolio has grown from buying tech companies to real estate, finance, tech and art. At his landscape office at Tribeca, Arthur is on the verge of completing his first solo real estate project going for $52.5 million. Previously, he has invested in the Bnox binoculars start-up. Arthur has also invested in his art. Key to his interest understands currencies and the value that humans attach to it. To comprehend this, Arthur has on very many occasions bought currencies from Nigeria and Cameroon. These currencies are believed to be a millennium old and he intends to display their art at the Capital Properties building in Boston. He has also sculptured from gold bars, shapes from paper money and origami animals that have been bought by Wall Street investors.

He is noted to have invested $4 million in a nuts growing business through a contract with Mrs. Fields Cookies which saw him make $6 million in profits from their sale. Arthur has also manufactured antique construction bricks learned from his stay in a Buddhist monastery in Vermont.
